Draft for legal review
Privacy policy
Effective: 1 October 2026
Information we collect
Laborlo collects account details, verified mobile numbers, service addresses (and, if you choose to share it, your device location at the address), booking details, payment references, support communications, worker applications, and reviews needed to operate the platform.
Authentication and service providers
Phone authentication is provided by Firebase. Mobile numbers used for authentication are processed by Google for verification and abuse prevention. Tracking maps are shown with Google Maps. Booking updates are shown in My bookings and may also be sent to your verified mobile number on WhatsApp, a service operated by Meta.
How information is used
We use information to authenticate accounts, coordinate services, assign workers, record payments, send operational updates, prevent misuse, provide support, and meet legal obligations.
Sharing and retention
Information is shared only with service providers and assigned professionals as needed to fulfil a booking. A worker sees your area when you send a request, and your name, service address and mobile number once they accept it, until the job is complete. While a worker travels to you, their live location and mobile number are shown to you; only their latest location is kept, for no more than a day. Records are retained according to operational, safety, financial, and legal requirements.
Your choices
You may contact Laborlo support to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Some transaction records may need to be retained.
